General rules for the Games
General
Participation: If the husband and wife belong to different Alumnae, they have to participate with their respective alumni teams. But their off springs ( children ) can choose one alumni team of their discretion, even if they are graduated from some other college.
Walk-over: If any alumni team fails to report on time at the venue, it will be considered a walk over for the other team. Sports committee members of each alumni has to inform in advance, in case, two of their matches are scheduled at the same time and there are common participants.
Badminton Tournament
The games included are: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles and Veteran's Doubles and there will be a separate championship for Ladies Doubles Children can also participate in first two categories. Participants can participate only in one of the above events. Men above 45 only can participate in the veteran’s event
Table Tennis Tournament
The games included are Men's Singles, Men's Doubles and Ladies Singles. Children can also participate in above events. Participants can participate only in one of the above events.
Basket Ball Tournament
This game is restricted for men. Children above 12 yrs can also participate. One team from each alumni with max 10 players and minimum 5.
Cricket Tournament
Each college will have one team consisting of 11 members Each team shall have minimum one lady member in the playing 11 and if a lady member is not in the team, 24 runs will be awarded to the opposite team. Children can also participate but maximum number is restricted to three. All the 11 players have to bowl one over each. One batsman can face maximum 12 balls. If the batsman is retired after 12 balls, he can play again if his other team members are all out before the stipulated 11 overs. There’re no re-balls and for a wide or no-ball 4 runs shall be awarded to the opposite team. Other General rules as per previous years shall be followed. Final decision on any dispute related to the game shall be of the Sports Committee.
Chess Tournament
This event is restricted for children and there will be separate championship for Junior and Senior levels.
(Junior-up to 12 years and Senior - above 12 years up to 17 years)
Carroms Tournament
Two teams from each Alumni. Every team should have at least a lady.

Intercollegiate Tournament for Badminton, Table Tennis and Basket Ball will be conducted on 2nd and 9th November 2007 at Indian School Darseit (8.30 am to1pm and 4pm to 7pm). Cricket Tournament is scheduled on 16th and 23rd November 2007 at BEC ground in Ghala (7.30 AM onwards). Chess and caroms Tournament will be conducted on 9th November 2007 at Indian School , Darseit
