RECCAA Muscat chapter will be organizing an Inter-Collegiate Shuttle tournament from Thursday, 07/02/2002 at Gala. Each college can send the following teams
Men's Singles - 1team
Men's doubles- 1 team each
( Below 35 years, between 35 & 50, Above 50 )
Women's singles - 1 team
Women's doubles - 1 team
Mixed doubles - 1 team
Children teams
Note:
An individual can participate for two events only
Registration charges will be R.O.15.000 per College

NOTES :
1.
Each team shall have 3 matches :
a)
Mens Singles
b)
Mens Doubles
c)
Mixed Doubles
All
team members must be a Alumni Member except for Ladies participants.
2.
Organising committee requests each alumni to nominate a member to the
tournament committee.
3.
The 4 best teams will have seeding, and each teams are requested to
announce the team by 20th February 2002
4.
A tournament lot, in the presence of the tournament committee will
finalize the Draw on 21st February 2002.
5.
The tournament entry charge is R.O. 35/- per team.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
6.
Team matches will be continuous with a break of 10 minutes between
matches.
7.
All the tennis rules including foot fault is strictly adhered and under
arm serving is not allowed.
8.
Each participating member is encouraged to wear tennis outfits.
9.
Each match in the tournament will be a tiebreak of 19 points except on
finals, which will be 25 points, the difference being 2 points for the winner.
10.
Each match in the tournament will have new tennis balls (set of 3).
11.
Soft drinks/water will be provided for the players.
12.
Tournament schedule and venue will be announced later.
13.
In case of a dispute, the organizing committee’s decision is final.
