Achievements:
Karthik Omanakuttan is doing his final year in Electrical Engineering at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. He has received a full tuition waiver scholarship from the University based on his consistent academic record from IXth to XIIth standard and his SAT scores.

Karthik was the Head Boy of Indian School Al Ghubra during the year 2003-04. He was selected as the best outgoing student of ISG based on his academic and extra curricular achievements for the Sir Swaraj Paul gold medal. He also received the City Bank rolling trophy awarded for the Best Student Leader.

He was the Captain of the school debating team and has led ISG to a victory in the Interschool Youth Festival Debating contest (Teen Talentz 2003) conducted at ISWK and was adjudged the best speaker. He has also won many other debating and elocution competitions conducted by Times of Oman, KCC, etc..

 He has excelled in the athletics field as well and was the ISG athletic champion. He has also won many interschool athletic competitions.
