E.M Ashraf ( KEF Past president )
We
have great pleasure to introduce
Er.E.M.Ashraf, Past President of Kerala
Engineers Family, Muscat. He is the Patron of
TKM college Alumni in Oman and founder member
Of Kerala Engineers group, Oman He has graduated in Mechanical Engineering from TKM college of Engineering in 1969.
Mr. Ashraf, is from a reputed
Muslim family of Kollam. His schooling was in Kollam and did his PUC from Fatima
college.
After his initial training in
Gwalior Rayons Calicut,he started his career as Asst. Engineer in the machinery
division of ALIND , Hyderabad . Later he joined Kerala Soaps and oils Co in
Calicut as chief Engineer , works
Manager, and got promoted later to the position Managing Director. He came to Oman in 1985 as factory Manager of Areej Veg oil co, Muscat , a Zawawi group company. He has put in 25 years in this Company and currently is a Director. He is also holding a Director position in Oman Agricultural Development Company, Sohar.
His daughter ,Nazleen ,is also a REC Trichy graduate and married to Mr. Aadil a business man and settled in Florida , USA . With a daughter EVA He is still an active member of Alumni groups in Oman and tries to take part in its cultural and sports events He can be contacted at emashraf@yahoo.com |
