CNP Nampoothiri ( KEF Past President )
We have great pleasure to introduce Er.CNP Nampoothiri, an active member of Kerala Engineers, Muscat. Born at Anickad, Kottayam Dist. Had his schooling at St Thomas School, Anickad and CS school, Madappally. PDC from St Berchman’s College, Changanassery, and took BSc Engineering from College of Engg. Trivandrum Official Wide experience in manufacturing and marketing sectors in India and ME Worked in India with M/s Birla & Mafatlal Groups. As Mechanical Engineer in their manufacturing units In Saudi Arabia, as Sales Engineer with Gustav Gmbh, Germany for 2 years Employed in Oman since 1983 Presently working as General Manager, Al Manawir Trading LLC, Muscat Extra- Curricular/official Activities
Elected as Kerala University Union councilor from CET. Served as President and Gen Sec, Kearala Cultural Centre,Oman. Later, Three terms as Convener, Malayalam Wing, Indian Social Club. Elected to ISC Management Committee and served as Jt.Sec, Sports Led an ISC(Mal) delegation to India to meet the prime minister and presented NRI problems before the Govt. of India. With a group of Malayalees/organisations, initiated the demand for starting a Kerala Syllabus School in Muscat, and served in the school management committee for over 8 years in various positions taking important responsibilities. Took active part in the formation of Science India Forum Muscat. A body of science lovers and functioning as Oman Chapter of Vijyan Bharati, India(conducting sastra Pratibha Contest in Indian schools), and currently serving as its Convener. Took leading role in organizing various programs and projects successfully under the above capacities CETA & KEF Served as secretary and president of CETA Oman.
Er.CNP Nampoothiri, 1972 Batch, Mechanical Children : 2 Sons 1.Rajkrishnan P. B Tech from NIT Trichi,M.S. from NC State Univ, USA. : Now employed with QUALCOMM. USA 2.Jaykrishnan P. Studying for B.Tech (S6), NIT Surathkal ( Both are recipients of 1st place KEF Academic Awards)

Person
with an inherent fervor for public activity and social work, elected to
different students bodies during the school and college days.
Contributed
commendable service as chairman of KEF Sports Committee (2004) and Food
Committee (2009). Presently as Vice president KEF.
