Er.Rajendran Nair  - Kerala Engineers President for the Year 2003 The Managing Committee unanimously selected Er.Rajendran Nair ( Oman Water Pumps- Former President of NSS, Palghat Alumni ) as the  President of Kerala Engineers family, Muscat for the year 2003. Congratulations.

* NSS Palghat Alumni has organized their General body meeting on 16th January 2003 and unanimously selected new office bearers for the Year 2003 . President: Er.Damodharan, Gen.secretary: Er.Sreekumar, Treasurer: Er.Jayakrishnan

* MEA has organized their General body meeting on 31st January 2003 and unanimously selected new office bearers for the Year 2003 .Chairman: Er.Thomas Alexander,  President: Er.Abraham Zacharia, Gen.Secretary:Er.Balagopal, Treasurer: Er.Manoj Cherian, Main Co-ordinator: Er.Vijay Mathew.

* RECCAA  ladies committee has started a book circulation library for its members. The committee meets on 1st Thursday of every month.

* TKM Alumni have awarded scholarships for 6 students of TKM Engg College, Kollam. They will be arranging a Picnic/General body meeting on 21st Feb.2003. A charity sale  also will be arranged along with it. They are  also planning to arrange a cooking competition for the ladies of All Kerala Engineers family and a library to TKM alumni members

* Trichur Alumni has organized a Personality Development and Communication skills  workshop for children. Also organized a one day picnic for the members.

* Er.Surendra Kumar ( Trichur Alumni/Schneider Electric) , Past chairman of food arrangement committee will be leaving Oman shortly for good. He will be taking charge in Qatar as Country Manager-Schneider Electric . We Wish him all success.

* All members  and children above 18 years  are invited for Kerala Engineers TOASTMASTER meeting which is scheduled on all Wednesdays 8PM at Al Falaj Hotel. Toastmaster club is meant for improving your communication and speaking skills. click for more....

• MEA has won Basketball tournament : The finals of the Basketball tournament ( organized by MEA ) was played between Malayali Engineers Alumni & Trichur Engg. College Alumni on Wednesday, 24th April AT GALA Church BB court and it was won by MEA. Congratulations.
  
  

• ANTHAKSHARI FINALS: The Antakshari finals conducted by N.S.S College of Engineering Palghat and Trivandrum Engineering college was held at Hotel Intercontinental on 12th April 2002. The exciting programme came to an end with team "THALAM" (Premkumar, Mohan and Jaleel) the Winners and team "EENAM" (Chandralal, Reji and Samji Chungath) the runners-up. Team "SRUTHI" (Sudha Hiran, Kunjumol Rehman and Jose Skaria) came third.

• NSSCE Alumni : A family meet was organised by NSS College of Engineering Palghat, on 24th Jan 2002 at Holiday Inn, Alkhuwair. Main agenda was to plan the activities for the year 2002. The function was followed by games for children and dinner.
  

• TKM get-together: 

  TKMCEA have arranged a family picnic to Naseem Garden on 25th January. The picnic was well attended and eveybody enjoyed. Various games were played for Children, Ladies, Men and Couple. Members had breakfast, lunch and Tea together. Programmes started at 9:30 AM and ended at 4:30 PM
  

• Seminar by Malayali Engineers Alumni
  A Seminar was organized by Malayali Engineers Alumni at 8.P.M, on 3rd February, Galfar club. The topic is "WHAT LIFE INSURANCE IS ALL ABOUT".

• The Regional Engineering college,Calicut is organising a national level technical festival "TATHVA2002" on the 15th and 16th of february 2002.    In this edition of Tathva, the college is planning to conduct paper presentations, design contests, software contests and workshops, in IT and management streams handled by IIMs. The festival is aimed at providing a platform for the engg.students. • Dr. J. Mohamed Jahabar of RECCAA received the Award of the Best Academic Staff of the year 2000-2001 from the authorities of Salalah College of Technology. He was the first recipient of the prestigious academic award from the  Ministry. Congratulations
